Lou Garcia
Lou Garcia
President and
Chief Executive Officer
Lou Garcia is a financial services executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience with respect to banking, institutional investment management, and alternative investments. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Lou is responsible for strategic leadership of InsurBanc and oversees its efforts to deliver innovative financial solutions tailored to the independent insurance agency community.
Lou is committed to building strong relationships with insurance agencies and strategic partners to strengthen the independent insurance distribution channel. He recognizes agencies as the foundation of the insurance marketplace and supports them through financial innovation, resources and partnership opportunities.
Lou brings to InsurBanc extensive financial expertise and strategic insight. Most recently, Lou served as Organizer and Chief Executive Officer of a proposed Connecticut de novo community bank, leading regulatory engagement, governance development, and operational readiness efforts supporting the bank’s formation.
Previously, Lou was a Managing Director at an insurance-focused and credit-oriented investment management firm that was later acquired by The Carlyle Group. Before that, he spent 16 years as Partner and Chief Operating Officer of a Connecticut-based SEC-registered investment advisory firm, where he played a key role in the firm’s strategic growth and operations. He began his buy-side investment career at private equity firm JH Whitney & Co.
Lou has served in select industry board and community leadership roles. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and completed Advanced Professional Study through the Wharton Leadership & Management Program.

Senior Vice President, InsurBanc Division Director
Scott Freiday has more than 24 years of experience in domestic and international banking and financial services. As Division Director Scott oversees the commercial lending and cash management operations of InsurBanc.
By staying informed and responsive to market dynamics, Scott leads InsurBanc in meeting the capital needs of agencies across the country.
Scott is a frequent presenter on behalf of InsurBanc and enjoys attending various insurance industry and state association events. He also has authored many articles in the insurance trade publications.
He is adept at lending to companies globally with a specialty niche in financial services. His past positions include an extensive tenure at WorldBusiness Capital, Inc. in Hartford, CT, where he was Senior Vice President and Managing Director.
Scott employment history also includes UPS Capital Business Credit, where he was Vice President and served in a number of departments including Commercial Lending, Credit and Capital Markets.
Scott is a graduate of Trinity College with a MA in economics and holds a BA in economics from the University of Delaware.

Keith J. Mangini

Commercial Team Leader
Keith Mangini has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and is the commercial team leader for InsurBanc. He began his career at InsurBanc almost 22 years ago when the Bank first opened and has worked with many of his Bank clients for over 15 years.
Keith has a deep respect for the independent insurance agency network and the services they provide to their communities. He has strong experience in lending to independent agents allowing him to develop an understanding of an agency’s financial situation and to develop lending solutions. He manages a large portfolio of highly regarded agency clients and develops new agency business.
Keith is a frequent presenter on behalf of InsurBanc and enjoys attending various insurance industry and state association events. Keith has also authored several articles in the insurance trade publications.
Prior to InsurBanc, Keith spent six years in the automotive financing industry with Ford Motor Credit Company as a financial analyst.
Keith is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a BA in Interpersonal Communications and received a Certificate in General Accounting from the American Bankers Association.
George N. Thompson

Commercial Loan Officer
George Thompson has more than 20 years of lending experience at both domestic and internationally focused lending institutions. In his position of Vice President, George is responsible for carrying out commercial lending activities for InsurBanc.
George has provided lending facilities to companies across a variety of industry sectors including Business Services, Financial Services, Manufacturing and Technology. He previously worked at WorldBusiness Capital, Inc. in Hartford, CT, where he was Senior Vice President of domestic and international lending activities.
George’s employment history also includes ORIX Capital Partners, where he Associate Director in the venture finance group as well as Smith Whiley & Company where he served as Senior Associate across two middle market mezzanine debt focused private equity funds.
George holds a BA in economics from Wesleyan University and has an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Commercial Loan Officer
Vinny Viturale has spent his entire career as a banking professional with experience in commercial lending, credit analysis and portfolio management. He has a strong background in underwriting commercial loans, evaluating credit risk, and building lasting client relationships.
In his position as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, Vinny is developing new agency business and managing a portfolio of insurance agency clients. He specializes in providing working capital lines of credit, agency acquisition financing and owner-occupied real estate.
Throughout his career at multiple, well-established, financial institutions, he has demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Vinny hold a BSBA with a concentration in Finance from Western New England University and was a member of 3 prestigious honor societies during his tenure.
